A Night in Kyoto
Chef Siegl prepared a six-course tasting menu inspired by her recent trip to Kyoto, Japan.
Chef Christina Siegl and 84 Yesler owners Sam and Katsuko Takahashi have recently returned home after a trip abroad to Kyoto, Japan. Chef Siegl arrived filled with inspiration from the trip and created a six-course tasting menu to give guests the experience of 'A Night in Kyoto'. Chef Siegl used new techniques learned after meeting with Kyoto's top chefs such as Ryoichi Yamashita and Masahiro Takimota, along with several others. The tasting menu featured Kyoto-style cuisine using Pacific Northwest ingredients along with special ingredients from our new friends in Japan.
